Arooga is seeking an experienced Lead Designer to join their growing team. You will be responsible for all aspects of the design of a new social game for Facebook. The ideal candidate will have experience designing video games understand game design best practices and the overall game development process..

• Conceive, create and document new social game for Facebook.
• Pitch ideas to the team and take part in brainstorming sessions.
• Hold the vision for the game and communicate it to other team members.
• Develop game characters, narratives and messaging.
• Use game feedback and analytics to adjust game features.
• Work with producers, coders, artists & QA to oversee the implementation of the game and its development after launch.
• Understand and keep up with game market trends, patterns, player requirements and expectations.

• Has worked as a designer on at least one published game.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment with maturity and leadership.
• Most important of all, you need to love games!

• Experience in social games or casual games markets.
• Experience with online gaming and live game development.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
